Mt. Elbrus
One of the Seven Summits, Mt Elbrus is an exciting climb that can be done on skiis in the spring or by foot in summer conditions. The Caucasus Mountains also offer many other hikes and climbs for acclimatization. An interesting cultural adventure into eastern Europe. Also a really good first introduction to the higher altitudes.
